     Mersiche Brook

The Mersiche Brook flows from the Black Penny Wall Well to Cannop Ponds.

 

The name is probably Anglo-Saxon meaning 'boundary Stream'.

 

The meandering of the brook is typical of a stream flowing over a fairly flat floor to a valley.
